John Cody Mosbey

John studies and writes in the fields of Geopolitics, Security, Theology, and Justice. He taught Homeland Security and Criminal Justice for over a decade, and he has over thirty years of military experience including aviation and support to federal, state, and local law enforcement. He was a member of the staff of  the Center for Homeland Defense and Security during its formative years. After time served in Iraq as a senior Department of State police advisor to the Coalition Provisional Authority, he was appointed Director of the Jordan International Police Training Center. He concluded his government service as a senior security analyst for the Department of Homeland Security. He earned his Ph.D. from Trinity College Dublin researching Russian gepolitical theology. In addition, he holds graduate degrees in Criminal Justice (UAB), National Security (Naval War College), and Intercultural Theology (Trinity College Dublin).
